The IFC is a self-governing body representing fraternities at Illinois State University. Consisting of six executive council members and the chapter president of each fraternity, the IFC strives to promote excellence in all aspects of fraternity life as well as academics. The Council also works together to help the entire Greek Community better achieve its common goal of membership development and service to the Normal community. The Interfraternity Council constitutes only a third of the Greek community at Illinois State University. In addition to IFC, the Greek
Community includes the Panhellenic Association, as well as the National Pan-Hellenic Council.
